Open CallSubmissions open for the 2023 edition

Cinalfama invites all directors, screenwriters and composers to submit their films to the 1st edition of the Cinalfama Lisbon International Film Festival. All the competitive categories are available here.

 

Winners will receive a laurel and a certificate, as well as worldwide projection through our partners and access to the ECÚ Paris International Festival. The winners will also have the opportunity to schedule an individual mentoring session with members of our renowned jury, such as Leonor Teles and Pedro Cabeleira.

Welcome to Cinalfama Lisbon International Film Festival 

Cinalfama wants to be a moment of encounter, a starting point for new audiences, it wants r(e)discover and celebrate Alfama, a place for portuguese and other cultures' cinematographic explorations that intend to question the present, past and future of cinema.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In July 2022, we take a step forward with the Cinalfama Lisbon International Film Festival (C'22), an annual open-air event that will gather, for a week, independent films from around the world and bring a new life into various historical corners from the Alfama neighborhood.
